Computer specs that can handle Sims 3 expansion packs?

Hello,

I've been considering getting the Sims 3 game and figured I might as well get the expansion packs. I would like to know the minimum requirements to run the expansion packs (without all the stuff packs) without having to deal with any lag.

I have a laptop but I don't know if it's able to run them all. My laptop's specs are:

Processor: Intel core i5-4210u CPU @ 1.70GHz 2.40GHz

RAM: 4.00 GB (2.45 GB usable)

and I have an NVIDIA GeForce 840M

I'm not really an expert about these sorts of matters so any advice would be appreciated
